Please continue the research and note-taking that you started yesterday. When time is up, I will ask you to share one new fact with the class.

Step 2:
Get a "Timeline Slip" from me. Use crayons or colored pencils to write 1) the date, 2) a SENTENCE about the person/place/event that you researched, and 3) a quick drawing/sketch of the person/place/event -- something memorable and neat (it will be posted in the room for the whole year!).
